Shennice Cleckley is South Carolina-Based business strategist, keynote speaker and international business development expert who helps female entrepreneurs find success in the sweet spot by owning a business, being present with family and serving. Her whole mission is to provide positivity and tools that will make you more profitable and personally fulfilled. She is the SC Grow with Google Digital Coaching tasked with bridging the digital skills gaps for African American and Latinx small business owners.
Shennice is highly acclaimed for her business acumen and innovative strategies on operations, profitability and work-life integration. Shennice makes use of each entrepreneur’s personal strengths and business goals to build holistic strategic plans powered with actionable revenue, operations and marketing tactics which produce successful results.
If there is an entrepreneur gene, then it is definitely a part of Shennice’s DNA. Her journey into business began nearly 20 years ago when she accidentally discovered she could get paid for making custom candy wrappers for a friend’s wedding. From that point she evolved that little candy-making business to a full-service mobile dessert catering company serving celebrity clients such as the NCAA Champions UofSC Lady Gamecocks, USA Olympics Women’s Basketball Team, NCAA Champions U of SC Baseball team and Beyonce’s On the Run Tour.
In 2018, Shennice retired from professional baking and is now the Top Cookie for Smart Cookie Coaching,LLC. Her roster includes organizations like Google, Richland Library (SC) System, Women’s Business Center of SC and amazing female entrepreneurs spanning 7 countries; (USA, UK, Switzerland, Belarus, Canada, Singapore, Turkey). Shennice has shared her innovative business acumen and jovial personality in media outlets such as Politico Magazine, Wall Street Journal, Google, MSNBC and TV One. Shennice is the 2021 SC Women In Business for Consulting.
Shennice is an alumnus of Columbia College (SC) and holds degrees in Political Science and Public Affairs. She serves her community as Chair for SC Whitmore School Board , Board Member for the City of Columbia Accommodation Tax Committee, Emcee for 1 Million Cups, Board Member for Circles Lexington, and member of Zeta Phi Beta, Inc.
Shennice is married to the love of her life, proud mom of 4 extraordinary intergenerational kids and Grandma Nene of 1 amazing granddaughter! On her platforms, she shares her real-life and inspires others to live abundantly through entrepreneurship, family love and serving God.
